Sparta Pewter Army 1st Infantry Division Expeditionary Big Red One, Victory insignia military medallion pendant keychain, keyring handcrafted in Canada, previously owned but still new on card. The Big Red 1, 1st Infantry, the Fighting First, is the oldest United States Army division, and has brigades based at Ft. Riley, Ks. and at Ft. Hood, Tx. Large highly detailed key chain measures about 4 1/4 inches in length from top of metal ring to bottom of pewter military medallion. Medallion measures about 1 1/2 inches across. Key ring says 1st Infantry Division, Victory (with the winged figure), and Expeditionary on the front side and says Big Red 1, Proven in Battle, with the “1” shoulder sleeve insignia on the back side. Medallion is made of pewter, and ring and chain are silvertone metal. Great holiday gift for that special collector!
