Red roses signed Colette vintage handkerchief big flowers long stems and green leaves on white with red edge. Hanky is about 14 ¾ inches by 14 ¾ inches. Delicate cloth hankie is in excellent vintage lovingly used condition. From an estate, it looks clean and has a few creases from being folded but was packed away for a long time and I did not wash it, leaving that up to the buyer. I see one pinpoint size tiny brown spot (photo), and a small weaving flaw line here and there. The artist or manufacturer’s signature, Colette, is not completely visible. I am not an expert on vintage linens or fabric, and I think this might be cotton material or maybe linen, but not sure? This lovely handkerchief would provide a charming splash of color for your special sweetheart’s coat, shirt, or blouse pocket as a gift for Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, or birthday, or an unusual addition to your collection.
