This is a lovely vintage 1986 Avon “Modern Art” black plastic bangle bracelet. The bracelet measures about 3 inches in diameter across from outer edge to outer edge. The inside opening measures about 2 ¾ inches across (about 8 inches all around the inside area). It is about ½ inch thick. I do not see any Avon manufacturer’s marks on this Avon jewelry piece.
The box is dated “1986”, and says “Created in British Hong Kong Exclusively for Avon Products, Inc., Distr., New York, N.Y. 10019”. The box has cleaning instructions for this Avon jewelry piece on the back. The box is in good shape, with a little wear and tear here and there, and maybe a little dust or a tiny bit of dirt and a minor bend or crease from being packed away. The box has a spot of white paper wear on the front where it looks like a sticker or a label was removed.
This Avon Modern Art bangle bracelet is in excellent vintage condition. This jewelry came from an estate of an Avon distributor, and it was packed away for many years. It is my guess that it was not worn (?), but I cannot say this for sure, and I will describe it as “used, or gently worn”.
