Vintage brass and metal printing plate printer's type engraved with an art deco style world or globe. The advertising print (which is reversed) in the center says "Investors Life Reserve of Kansas". The arrows at the top, bottom, and sides of the world have the letters, "N", "S", "E", and "W". I am not sure of the age of this printers plate, but my guess would be that it dates to the 1930's or 1940's? The back is metal and the top side appears to be brass to me. This unusual old printing plate measures about 7 1/2 inches across the widest part. It is in excellent condition. There are tiny holes here and there that were done in manufacturing to use to attach the plate to the printer's block.
