Vintage Wm. A. Rogers, Oneida, Valley Rose, silver plate flatware two dinner knives. This popular Valley Rose pattern was first produced by William A. Rogers in 1956. Each silverplate knife has a lovely rose pattern on both sides of the handle. The knives measure about 9 inches long. There are no manufacturer's marks on these knives. The handles are silverplated, and the blades are metal (blades are probably stainless steel (?), but they are not marked stainless steel). There are no monograms on this lovely pair of dinner knives. They are in nice vintage used condition, but they do have some scratches from age and from use here and there, and there are some small dents and dings in the handles. One knife blade has a tiny pinpoint size black spot on the top of the blade, and I tried to show this in a photo (very small, hard to see). I gently polished these pieces, and the buyer may choose to polish them more.
