Vintage 1995 Annalee Doll Society Logo Kid “Goin Fishin”, handcrafted by Annalee Mobilitee Dolls, Inc., Meredith, New Hampshire. There are wonderful orange and yellow fall colors in the leaves shading this little Huck Finn-type boy doll, who is cheerfully strolling along with his fishing pole and fish catch of the day, in front of a white picket fence. It would be hard to resist that adorable face!
The doll has labels and tags, and the tag attached to the doll is dated “1995 – ‘96”. The hang tags say that this Annalee doll is number 9858. One hang tag says “Since 1934, Annalee Dolls, A Soft Sculpture Art Form”. The stand says “Annalee Doll Society, TM, Logo Kid, 1995”.
This highly collectible Annalee Mobilitee doll measures about 7 inches in height (around 10” counting the lovely fall leaves). It measures about 6 inches across the round wire, felt, and cardboard base.
Annalee Dolls are hand created of felt and wire, and are unusually whimsical and fun. This Annalee barefoot boy doll is in excellent vintage condition, with maybe a tiny bit of dust or dirt from being displayed over the years. I do Not have the box for this Annalee doll.
