Royal Dux Deer Figurine, white with gold color painted trim. This porcelain fine china figure has the original gold paper triangle shaped label that says “Royal Dux Bohemia" with a “D” in the center. The printed blue mark on the bottom says “Royal Dux, Made in Czechoslovakia”. There is a large impressed “D” in the porcelain on the bottom, and number “606”. There is a gold painted mark – not sure what is says – but may be the artist’s mark, initials, or number? There is also another small impressed mark– again, not sure what is says – maybe another artist’s mark or an import mark?
This charming rearing or leaping deer figure measures about 4 ¼ inches in height. The base measures about 4 inches by about 2 ¼ inches. I do not know the age of this deer figurine.
This elegant Royal Dux deer figurine is in excellent vintage used condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. This highly collectible Royal Dux deer would make a great addition to your collection, or a wonderful gift for that special collector!
