Vintage 1940 General Electric Institute “The New Art of Simplified Cooking, From the Kitchens of the General Electric Institute” cookbook. This recipe book measures about 8 1/2” by about 6 1/2”, and has about 84 pages. It has a paper front and back cover, and this recipe book has several interesting color photographs throughout. The cook book is in nice vintage used condition, with some stains and soil, a tiny bit of edge and corner wear and tear, and some tiny creases. There is a long crease going up and down on the front cover. There is white binding tape on the inside front and inside back covers, which I think is probably original, but you can take a look at it in the photographs.
