Bakelite catalin belt buckle or scarf slide butterscotch color, unusual shape. Measures about 2 3/8 inches by about 2 3/8 inches. Estimated date 1920s or 1930s. Bakelite is a highly collectible early plastic. Excellent vintage used condition with a tiny edge fleck or two and a couple of very tiny brown spots (photo), and extremely minor scratches. Wonderful for your collection or to wear as a lovely jewelry clothing accessory.
