Vintage Anheuser Busch postcard with the caption “Central Portion of Brew House – Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis” and number “3A-H849” on the front. The colors are still vibrant in this fascinating manufacturing plant scene. The postcard was not used and was not postmarked. I do not see any date on the card and I estimate that this card is from the 1930’s?
The postcard was printed by Curt Teich & Co., Inc., Chicago, U.S.A. The back of the card says “In this department of the world’s largest brewery, barley malt is ground, cooked and flavored with the blend of Saazer and domestic hops that has brought fame to Budweiser and other fine beers brewed by Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis. Daily capacity, 250,000 gallons. Budweiser, King of Bottled Beer, Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis”.
This great vintage postcard measures about 5 ½ inches by about 3 ½ inches. It is in very nice condition, with very slight edge and corner wear, slight age yellowing, and maybe a tiny touch of dirt.
I also am offering separately another great Anheuser-Busch bottling plant postcard, so please check my other store items to see this one.
