Vintage NASCO Stainless Steel Flatware in the Guilden pattern, made in Japan. Included are a total of 19 silverware pieces including 8 dinner forks, 7 dinner knives, and 4 teaspoons. This is an elegant vintage pattern with a great classic scrolling design at the tip ends of the handles. I do not know the age that this pattern was first produced, but I would estimate that it was in the 1950’s or 1960’s?
Each dinner fork measures about 7 ½ inches in length. Each dinner knife measures about 8 ¾ in length. Each teaspoon measures about 6 ¼ inches in length.
The dinner forks and the spoons are marked in raised lettering on the back of the handle “Guilden, NASCO. Stainless, Japan”. The dinner knives have an impressed mark, “NASCO Stainless Japan”, on one side of the blade.
This attractive flatware set is in very good vintage used condition. There are some scratches, bite marks, minor wear lines on the backs where the pieces touch the table, and a few tiny age pits in the metal here and there.
This hard-to-find highly collectible vintage flatware pattern would be a lovely addition to your dinner table, or a great gift for that special collector!
