Boeing 747 Pan Am airplane matchbook cover Toho Shokusan Group Tokyo Japan. Some advertising text is in Japanese (I think?). English text says "Largest restaurant chain in the center of Tokyo". "Be the first one to fly a 747." With flap closed matchbook measures about 2 1/8 inches by 1 7/8 inches. Pan Am logo and aircraft on back and sailing ship on front. Most matches still inside. Used striker, minor edge and corner wear, stains, bends and creases, and some general paper wear on cover and on advertising print. Not sure of age but I would guess 1960s or 1970s? I can't read Japanese, and I do not see the word "Boeing" in English on the match book, but the 747 was a Boeing Aircraft plane.
